Experience:
Mr. Rouillard has been with Kemitek since September 2008 as R&D chemist. Prior to this, and apart from his graduate studies in Medicinal and Synthetic Chemistry, he worked in the industry for 2 years. Mr. Rouillard’s expertise can be resumed as follows:
- Organic synthesis in solutions and on solid support
- Development of analysis methods
- Personnel management in the pharmaceutical field
- Professor of general and environmental chemistry

- Development of greases and lubricants

Accomplishments:
- Development of a technological platform for applications in lubricants (technical fluids) (OLEOTEK, 2012-2016) – NSERC funding (Innovation Enhancement Grant)
- Development of a biodiesel process from crude animal fat – NSERC funding (Engage grant)
- Development of additives for technical fluids such as biolubricants (OLEOTEK, 2008-2011) – MDEIE funding (SQRI program)
- Development of a prototype of insulating oil for an electrical transformer that can be used in nordic conditions (OLEOTEK, 2008-2011) – MAPAQ funding
- Reduction of residual ash content of used motor oil (OLEOTEK, 2008-2011)
- Realization of various consultation mandates as consultant in the field of biodiesel and lubricant formulation
